The Association fo Safe Alternatives in Childbirth is a part of a growing network of parents and health professionals who believe that childbirth is a normal, healthy part of life, of special significance to the pregnant woman and her family. ASAC was created to encourage alternatives to the technological approach. They believe parents have the right and the responsibility to make informed choices about childbirth and that a full range of options should be available to them -- in the hospital, at home, in a birthing centre and with professional care givers of their choice.

Ecstatic Birth is a call for a revolution, a revolution in the way we think about birth, and, as a result, the way we give birth. Ecstasy is not the absence of feeling. Ecstasy can be experienced by accepting whatever we are feeling in the moment and making a conscious choice to say "Yes" to it, so that the energy can flow and shift and change. Ecstasy is a transcendent, empowering event that sets the foundation for expanded creativity in all areas of life.

She Births is dedicated to helping women understand the emotional, spiritual and psychological significance of natural childbirth. In our modern society, we have lost sight of the importance of rites of passage, and in losing this we've begun to drift away from the essence of what makes us lovely and powerful. She Births offers workshops, retreats, products, our WOTG Birthing Circle, opportunities to become a certified workshop instructor, and a book entitled: She Births: A Modern Woman's Guidebook For An Ancient Rite of Passage to help you reach your goal of natural childbirth, heal from a passage you were denied, or to help others understand the significance of this very important journey.
